The following information is explicitly approved by using the website. The Data Controller is Vitillo, represented by its legal representative, unless a data processor is appointed pursuant to Article 29 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003.
The personal data provided by the Customer, directly or indirectly, to Vitillo, located at Zona Pip Camporeale – 83031 Ariano Irpino (AV) – Italy, are processed in accordance with Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 (the “Privacy Code”), which contains provisions for the protection of individuals and other subjects regarding the processing of personal data. The processing will be based on the principles of fairness, lawfulness, and transparency to protect the confidentiality and rights of the subscriber. Pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, Vitillo provides the following information to the Customer:
1) Purposes for which the processing of Customer data is necessary
The processing is aimed at:
a) Concluding, managing, and executing the contracts for the provision of requested services; b) Organizing, managing, and executing the provision of services; c) Fulfilling legal obligations or other requirements requested by competent Authorities; d) Sending the Customer information regarding the subscribed services and informing them about new services and products from Vitillo. It is also specified that the communication of personal data is not mandatory; however, it is necessary and indispensable for the conclusion of the present contract.
2) Methods and logic of processing
The data will be primarily processed using electronic and computer tools and stored on both computer media, paper media, and any other suitable media, in compliance with the minimum security measures provided for by the Technical Regulations on minimum security measures, Annex B of the Privacy Code. TeleType uses protected data networks and adopts appropriate security measures to protect against damage, misuse, and alteration of the data it possesses. Access to the provided information is allowed exclusively to authorized personnel. TeleType employees who have access to the databases storing user information or to the servers hosting our services are required to adhere to strict rules. Additionally, we collect non-personal information such as the type of browser, operating system, and visited web pages to facilitate the management of our websites. We use cookies and other internet technologies for our website and email management programs. We do not use such technologies to collect or store personal information.
3) Subjects to whom personal data may be communicated
Personal data may be disclosed by us, meaning to make it known to one or more specific entities, under the following terms:
- To subjects, both public and private, who may access the data by virtue of legal provisions, regulations, or EU legislation, within the limits provided by such laws.
- To subjects who need to access such data for purposes auxiliary to the relationship between us and the User, within the strictly necessary limits to perform auxiliary tasks (including, for example, credit institutions and shippers).
- To external subjects (independent data controllers), within the limits necessary to carry out their assignment on behalf of our companies, subject to our letter of appointment or delegation of responsibility imposing the duty of confidentiality and security.
- In the case of requests for domain name registration, the data of the domain owner will be transmitted to the competent Authorities, in particular to the Italian Registration Authority and to Tucows Inc., 96 Mowat Avenue, Toronto – Canada.
Personal data will not be disseminated by us, meaning to make it known to undetermined subjects in any way, including by making it available or consulting it. Personal information will not be shared with other market operators unless explicit consent has been requested and obtained.
